New 0.88″ Slim Kel-Tec 9 mm

The PF-9 is expected in May, and will probably sell for not much more than the P3At. Unloaded weight is 12.7 ounces.

The PF-9 is a semi-automatic, locked breech pistol, chambered for the 9 mm Luger cartridge. It has been developed from our highly successful P-11 and P-3AT pistols with maximum concealability in mind. The PF-9 has a single stack magazine holding 7 rounds. It is the lightest and flattest 9 mm ever made. Firing mechanism is Double-Action Only with an automatic hammer block safety. The PF-9 will be available in blued, parkerized, and hard chrome finishes. Grips will be in black, grey, and olive drab.

The PF-9 accessory rail will accept the latest compact weapon lights and lasers.

    YES!

My Glock 23 is just Too Darn Big for summer carry. Just tonight I was contemplating the P3AT, but hated the idea of going with anything less than 9mm.

And at that price, if it proves to be a reliable weapon, it’s just downright yummy.

It looks like Justin Moon needs to head back to the drawing board.

    MUST… MOVE… TO… NH… SOON…

  4. SayUncle says:

Paul, the p3at is considerably smaller. Plus, according to the box, Federal Hydrashock 380 and 9mm deliver the exact same foot pounds/muzzle velocity. Of course, the 380 is lighter but foot pounds is foot pounds.

  5. Homer says:

I really hope this is just practice for the Kel-Tec guys in preparation for issuing a super compact .45…..

  6. Anonymous says:

There’s already a super compact .45…the Taurus Millenium Pro PT745. That’s VERY small and only an inch thick…and holds 6+1, 20oz unloaded, which isn’t bad for a .45.

Perfect with Winchester Ranger-T 230gr. You NEVER feel like you don’t have enough gun…and it vanishes into a SmartCarry.

I’d like to see this kel-tec in a nice chrome finish. By the way for those of you who dont think 9mm is the way to go, look into a glock 36 .45 slimline.
