Last month I bumped up against my site’s bandwidth limit right at the end of the month. Now I’ve hit it just past the middle of the month, which is why the site was down earlier today. I called my Web host and upgraded to a plan with twice the monthly bandwidth quota, so things should be fine now.
As part of the upgrade I have my own IP address, 69.36.191.170, which is different from the old shared IP address I was on. It will take a bit for that new IP address to propagate over the Internet, so some people probably still can’t get to the site tonight. That should work itself out in the next 24 hours as more DNS servers pick up the new address.
