Natalie Day 244

Natalie is talking a little – my mom says she’s said “Da Da.” She loves sitting up and she’s walking with help (which isn’t really walking, but still).

It’s amazing how much Natalie’s grown physicallly and size wise in the last month. She was a little underweight before Christmas because she was cholicy for the first three or four months. Now she’s about 18 pounds, and has that bouncy baby feel.

Natalie likes watching the ceiling fan when I spin it for her, and she likes playing with paper and the plastic seal from her baby food jars. She’s been feeding herself some things for the past month or so. Green beans and Gerber Wagon Wheels are a big hit.

She’s lots of fun to play with, and my mom is having lots of fun keeping her in the morning and evening. Natalie’s big enough that mom feels comfortable with her, but she’s small enough that she can carry her easily.

Natalie has never been interested in pacifiers, but from Day 1 she’s been putting her ring finger and middle finger in her mouth, Spider Man-style.
