Nickelback’s “I Wanna Be a Rockstar”

So this thing is getting tons of airplay. It’s sort of a stupid song (”Hey, kids! Drugs are great!”), but there’s something in the lyrics that seems out of place.

Live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We’ll all stay skinny cause we just won’t eat
