“Put down that walnut-gripped 1911 sissy pistol and getcher self a Glock”

PDBTupperware Jihad:

In all that faggoty advertisementese is no objective explanation why I would choose this gun over, oh, say, a Glock 17, which happens to cost half as much, hold twice as many rounds, weigh half as much, shoot just as accurately, run more reliably out of the box, and is assembled from armorer friendly parts that do not require skilled fitting. The last point bears repeating: There are no parts on a Glock that cannot be changed in about 30 minutes by a user who has a hammer, screwdriver, and a punch.

Stick, meet hornet’s nest. Hornet’s nest, meet stick.

The 1911 can be taken down in 15 minutes with 0 tools. I own a Glock and a 1911 they are both fine weapons. before telling someone how easy the Glock is to take apart maybe you could have figured out how to take the 1911 apart

-disassembly- Glock is easier, but requires tools
    -ergonomics- 1911 hands down
    -ammo capacity- Glock
    -weight- Glock
-reliability- Tie, I think both are fairly reliable
Glocks are ammunition finicky beacause they dont have a firing pin
1911 ejectors need to be cleaned or they will cause fte
-accuracy- 1911 the cheapest 1911 vs most expensive glock
-cost- Glock the average Glock is substantially cheaper
