The widow of a Knox County District Attorney General has been indicted on a first degree murder charge in his 1992 death.
Leath’s attorney, James A.H. Bell, tells 10News that law enforcement officers arrived at Raynella Dossett-Leath’s residence around 8:00 a.m. Thursday. Leath surrendered as the papers were served. She was transported to the Knox County Detention Center and was later released on a $25,000 bond.
Leath is already charged with the shooting death of her second husband, David Leath in March, 2003.
The latest charge is for the murder of her first husband, Ed Dossett . The official cause of death was trampling by cattle outside the Barn of Doom, but prosecutors now say he would have been unable to walk with the amount of morphine in his system.

Raynella is a black WIDOW, look at the preponderance of the evidence, both past and present, she is as guilty as O.J. Simpson, regardless of what the verdict says. Both husbands had been drugged, and relatively with the same type of drugs, she wanted the 1st husbands death to look like an accident, that way the insurance pays double, usually,but in her case, it paid triple. Look at the position of the weapon on the bed and then the body, not a position that a person would end up in after shooting them selves and then falling to the bed, look at the weapon, it too looks like it had been neatly placed on the bed, next to the body. Also, no powder on her hands or body, only means she had planned this and had covered herself up very well, god knows she had plenty of time to get ride of what ever she used to accomplish this. I ONLY hope the verdict is GUILTY AS CHARGED.
