Smartcars Everywhere

Yesterday I saw one in downtown Knoxville and another on Alcoa Highway. They’re cute little critters. Safer than I would have thought, too.

You’ll trip over them in Europe, where gas prices are realllly exorbitant.

  2. There’s a yellow one of those I pass both ways going the other way on my daily commute. Tiny. This is on the same road with 18-wheelers and even with the safety testing, it makes me squirm a little to think about crashes involving these cars.

I do like the one I saw online with a Hayabusa V8 installed. Power and a screaming exhaust note in a Smart. Very smart. :)

They’re still a novelty here in li’l ole Knoxville. The one at the top has a bitchin’ paintjob, what with the doublejay creative logo going up into the window.
