I’ll be speaking about digital photography 7:00 PM this Tuesday, September 16 at the East Tennessee Macintosh User’s Group. The meeting will be in the Ned McWherter Building at Pellissippi State Community College on Hardin Valley Road. (Map.) The meetings are open to anyone, you don’t have to be a member.
The presentation will be in three parts. The first will cover basics of digital cameras, such as lenses and sensors, with an orientation towards buying decisions. The second part will address in-camera techniques, such as correct exposure, color management, flash photography, and tripod photography. Finally, we’ll look at digital photo correction and enhancement using Google’s free Picasa software. Picasa is available for Linux and Windows and is in development for Macintosh.
Blogging will be a bit light as I get my slides ready for the presentation.
