Unless this changes soon, this country is doomed. By 2020 the United States will essentially be an old aged pension fund with an army.”

People smarter than me have observed that Anglo-American history runs in cycles. The Roaring 20s were a time of indulgence; the 30s a time of sobriety when we thought we had a crisis; 1941 a time of greater sobriety when we found out what a crisis really was.
Many people in this country, me included, are questioning whether they really want to lead the kind of lives they have so far.
I once had a job with real meaning, but I left it to chase a dream. And now I ask those saddest of words “I wonder what might have been?”
