The Tennessee Renaissance Festival is this weekend, May 23-25 in Triune, TN. The backdrop is Castle Gwynn, a modern recreation of a European castle. One review seems to indicate you can’t enter the castle. Bummer.

Looks interesting… always wanted to check a ren. fair out. Don’t bring your carry piece though. From their “Rules of the Realm”: Fire-arms, working or replicas, are not permitted on Festival or Castle Grounds. Possession of firearms of the Festival or Castle Grounds will result in prosecution.
