Know a good landscaper in Maryville or Knoxville?

Monday, June 22nd, 2009 | Home Life |

I need someone to plant shrubs, move railroad ties, and lay a bunch of mulch. My last few experience with landscapers were pretty disappointing, so I’d like to get someone who comes recommended.

My son and I planted 11 rr ties and 24 arbs this spring between rain and wind storms, punctuated by snow and hail. Yipes.

All done now TBTG.

Recommend hiring a couple of big strong teenagers and doing it yourself. If you need help with the design a landscape architect will be glad to sketch up what you need, and maybe make a recommendation on who might be for hire.

Best of luck. Don’t forget your ppe.

Same deal: do you have any teenagers you can recommend? :-)

Part of it the need for strong backs. Railroad ties are heavy. I can’t move them alone and there’s no one to help me except my wife and she can’t do it. Then they’d need a truck for the mulch - the last time it took multiple truckloads.

I could also use some advice on plant selection in a couple of places. Beyond that, I just don’t have a lot of time, which is why I want to hire it out.
