I heard bad reviews and never saw it in the theater. Finally watched it on TiVo Memorial Day.
Maybe it’s the Memorial Day warm fuzzies – I have warm fuzzies for movies I see at Saturday matinees, too – but I liked it a bunch. Tons of action, a huge cast of mutants to keep things interesting, and good FX and acting (though will.i.am should keep his day job). That the cast has two Losties is a bonus.

I saw Wolverine at a drive-in when it first came out. I make it to drive-ins about once or twice a year. It’s fun for nostalgia reasons but I’m always reminded of the problems with drive-ins. Right in the middle of one of the fight scenes some guy turned his headlights on. By the time he turned them off we’d missed a lot of the fight. Drive-ins are good for nostalgia but not much good for watching a modern action flick like Woverine.
