Amazon’s Free Audubon Guide to North American Birds for Android

Get it here. I’ve used the print version for decades. I’m curious to try the electronic version, if for nothing else to have the bird calls. Serious birders do most of their identification by call rather than sight, since you often never see the bird. I’m okay at IDing birds by sight, but I don’t know the calls for diddly. This could help.

One Response to Amazon’s Free Audubon Guide to North American Birds for Android

  1. alan says:

Neither Amazon or Google will download to my android 2.3.4 Pandigital Planet tablet.
Amazon says that the application Audubon Birds of North America will not work on my tablet [I believe the app would be of value even without "location" services] . So they will not even download it to me. Google Play does not support my tablet. So they will not even let me register to their Google Play site. I am looking for another source for this android app so that I can make a gift of it to my significant other, an avid bird enthusiast.
    Got any ideas?

PS: I have contacted the developers at Green Mountain with hopes they can help.
I have not heard back yet so I am still looking for another possible solution.
    Thx
