I spent all day Saturday in the handgun carry class, and all day Sunday working on JavaScript projects, so no posts today. I'll post notes from the carry class tomorrow. I learned a lot about the legal aspects of deadly force, and even learned a thing or two about firearms.

Cool! Getting the permit is a good thing.

It is a good thing. There's Vermont carry (just put a gun in your pocket, no need to get a permit), but I actually think the class is a good thing overall. There are lots of nuances to legal use of force that people need to know.

Plus, 1/3 of our class had never fired a gun before. You at least have to be able to hit the stupid bad guys.
