Wow. At risk of sounding like this guy

I gotta say, I'm pretty much drawing a blank on all of these. The price of being too cheap to pay for cable, I guess.

On the other hand, if you want to know about PBS kid shows, I'm your man. Briefly --

Barney: Barney himself actually isn't all that awful, and if it were just the "Barney, and ONLY Barney" show I could handle it I guess. But his friends are just plain creepy.

Dragontales: Sort of cute, I guess. The songs sometimes have a good beat, and you can dance to them.

Teletubbies: Man, do I love Teletubbies. Except that they always remind me of the race of aboveground creatures that were being raised as food by the underground people in HG Wells The Time Machine.

Zoobomafoo: I guess it's ok, but it talks way down to kids. Zan much prefers animal shows where animals get eaten.

Sesame Street: maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem as good as it was when I was 4, especially since they "updated" the format last year to appeal to today's attention-challenged children. And like every third character is blind, or in a wheelchair, or speaks Spanish.

Clifford: the TV version of Goofus and Gallant from Highlights for Children. Wretched beyond belief.

Arthur: the anti-Clifford. It's actually funny and realistic, and has jokes for parents as well as kids. My favorite of all of these shows.

Redwall - an epic struggle between the mice and the rats, or something like that. There's lots of swords and death and mayhem, so Zan likes it.

Mr. Rodgers: I'm a big fan of the field trips Mr. Rodgers takes to go see factories where they make brake pads, or bleach, or the tiny marshmallows that go into Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix.
