Hey, kids! It's Bullsh!t Bingo, the wacky business power-talking game!

Two recent buzz phrases that I hear a lot: "what gets you out of bed" (translation: what motivates you) and "at the end of the day" (translation: meaningless filler).

At a recent meeting with one of our manufacturers, the sales rep combined the two: "At the end of the day we want to know what gets you out of bed."

There was a TNC Buzzword Bingo card going around a while back. Buzzword Bingo was *made* for TNC meetings -- it takes about five minutes to fill a card containing:

"stakeholders"
"cause-related marketing"
"strategic partnerships"
"strategic communication"
"strategic planning"

"fostering relationships"
"win-win"
"outcome indicators"

I don't know who came up with Boardroom Bingo first, but one thing I do know is; At the end of the day, you've only got a certain window of opportunity to dig deep into the frothy organic synergy - and smell the granular BS underneath it.
