I have a shopping cart loaded up at Amazon that's three cents away from qualifying for free Super Saver Shipping. I thought I could be clever and use some sort of cheap gift option, but the $25 minimum doesn't include gift options or taxes.

What's the cheapest thing you can buy when you're trying to reach the $25 minimum for Super Saver Shipping?

They used to have a 21 cent box of paper clips, and my wife used a small bag of rubber bands a couple of times that was less than a quarter.

I think that you can save your shopping cart and call them and they will just charge you the few cents. I once had a Buy $x of stuff and get $y off coupon where I was a dollar short and they let me use my coupon when I called and asked.

I think the cheapest item may change from time to time but one way is to search using google, something like:
super saver shipping "price: $0.50" site:amazon.com

If you try .01 you will end up with a bunch of cell phones that require service plans.
