That's Shorty guarding the baby. Jim and Wendy gave us the pink boppy Katie's sleeping in.

Melissa had an appointment today at the ob-gyn's office that has good magazines. The checkup went great. Melissa's lost 15 pounds since her pre-birth checkup last week. I got to read an article on photography tips (Popular Photography), an article on white-tailed deer (Field and Stream), and a George Lucas interview by Carrie Fisher (Audio and Video, I think).

Last night was our best night's sleep in a week. Katie slept all through the night except for her 4:00 feeding. Our humanity and grooming habits are slowly returning.

Oh, XRLQ and his wife are expecting a baby next week, and his wife has told him he can do whatever he wants this weekend. He's wondering what he should do with his last free weekend. Any thoughts?
