My out-on-a-limb prediction is that this debate will go Dubya's way.
Most people are saying it will go to Kerry, because this debate will focus on domestic policy and of course the Democrats are better on domestic issues. Might be true, might not, but either way I think that misses the point.
Tonight's debate is a "town hall" format. I think it will go Bush's way for reasons of personality rather than policy. The more intimate format favors Bush's easygoing personality. Kerry just isn't very personable.
In fact, I'd probably predict a Bush win no matter what the format. The more a person gets to know Kerry, the less they tend to like him.
