November 19, 2004Home Life > A Reason to Like Wal-MartToday Lileks has a mini-rant against Wal-Mart. While I was reading it I realized something I like about Wal-Mart. They have ugly shoes and clothes. Melissa doesn't so much as glance at them, and she doesn't care anything about the McDonalds, which is way in back. If we go to Target it's a soda at the front of the store, then the long way around through the women's clothing department. Wal-Mart is GIGO: get in, get out. Posted by lesjonesComments
Wal-Mart look dirty even when the doors just open and I always feel like they should give out latex gloves to their patrons, because I always feel like I need a bath when I shop there. Why do I shop there? They have everything, and everything they have is dirt cheap. The fact that I feel like Im shopping with people who were probably in a parole officers waiting room as early as that morning shouldnt enter into it. Posted by: Frank Martin at November 18, 2004Wal-Mart shoppers on average are much, MUCH uglier than Target shoppers. IMHO, of course. Posted by: Thibodeaux at November 19, 2004Post a comment
