Question: what's the name of the book President Bush was reading to a group of Florida second-graders when he was told of the 9/11 attacks?

If you said "My Pet Goat" you're wrong. Thank Michael Moore for getting it wrong in Fahrenheit 9/11. Tom McGuire has the correct answer.

I'll bet Osama Bin Laden's pissed. "How many more inaccuracies did the fat infidel insert into the spinning disc?" Of course, while Moore got this one small detail wrong, I'm sure he was very careful with all the other facts. And I'm sure he was right about the movie's larger theme (BUSH = HITLER! ONLY WORSER!).

Good grief, so what? Surely it's more important that Bush continued to freeze in the headlights -- however important you think that is -- than it is that Moore got the title of the book he was reading at the time slightly wrong.

I didn't get Bush=Hitler out of the movie. I got {Bush=unserious,unreliable; Bush family=Saudi connected; mother of dead soldier=former supporter} out of it, for whatever that was worth. Yes, it soft-pedaled pre-war Iraq too much, and was tin-foilish about Afghanistan-pipeline connection, as I recall. But I think it was OK taken as what it was: a screen polemic that Bush and the Iraq war aren't "all that".

In this day and age we have the choice to pick the lessor of two evils. We need to take the best we can get out of a president and the administration. Fighting between each other over petty things fuels the fires that our enemies like to see.
