There's a kerfuffle over the green parka VP Dick Cheney wore last week to a memorial service observing the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
Some conservative commentors are reflexively defending him, but it was a dumb thing to do. A memorial service is the equivalent of a funeral, and heads of state don't go to funerals dressed like they're going to blow the snow off the driveway.
