Here's Melissa feeding Katie in the new high chair my mom bought for her for her Valentine's present.

So shortly after we started feeding Katie baby food, I had a dream. In the dream we were with some other parents, and it was time to feed the kids.

Instead of baby food jars and plastic-coated spoons, we had vats. We sat the kids down in the vats of baby food and let the devouring begin. The kids would occasionally slip below the surface, but it didn't bother us, since you could see by the vortex on the surface that they were still sucking in food like a tornado.

When the babies were done eating, we took them out of the vats and wiped the food off of them. That's more or less what feeding a five month old is like.
