True Crime > Robert Blake Found Not Guilty

Not guilty verdict. If I had to bet, I'd bet he did it, but there was no credible physical evidence and no eyewitness who saw him pulling the trigger.

He didnt do it but he probably knows who did.

Mark it down as highly incompetant DA and police staff. The DA actually put a witness on the stand who was ( and admitted as much under oath) on cocaine. The pretrial hearing judge came out and said at the time that there wasnt much of a case, and the DA waited a full year before charging him with the crime.

It was a weak case at best but the fact that blake had competent legal help is what saved his ass. Imagine yourself in a similar situation, assume you are innocent but without the help of a half way decent lawyer. The assumption everyone makes is if the police arrent you, you must be guilty, but the truth usially is you got charged not because you are guilt, but the easiest case to make.

Unline CSI, the case that is made all comes down to man hours that the DA can put into it, your relative guilt never enters into it.
