I took Katie to see her grandmother and aunt in Maryville and spent about half the day there. Then I went across the street to visit Josh and Kerry and their new baby, Carter.
Before that Melissa and I took Katie for a stroll around Springbrook Park in Alcoa. We saw a little water snake in the fountain there and watched it chase crawdads. The horse chestnut blossoms are all gone, the wisteria blossoms are just past their peak, and the dogwoods are peaking right now.
Two walks with the wife and baby, plus I got to take naps Saturday and Sunday. Good weekend.
