I agree 100% about Frist's unsuitability, but, while Republicans and Democrats alike assume that he couldn't possible receive the nomination, I wouldn't be so sure. He is clearly courting the "New Life" dominionist crowd, and they are politically powerful. Great organizers and fund-raisers. They know the buttons to push to rally other evangelicals to a particular candidate if needed. If GOP moderates are at all concerned about the Fristification of their party, they had better start working on the alternative.
