East Tennessee > Palace Cafe Re-Opening in Downtown Maryville
The Palace Cafe in downtown Maryville is re-opening under new management under lease from Donna Dixon and Steve Kaufman, which should provide some revenue to support the Palace Theater. The article says they'll be "restoring" the Maryville-themed murals, though I'm not sure what thay means. I didn't know they needed restoration work. The menu will be basically unchanged, which is good news. How many delis have a sandwich - the McAmmon-Ammon Slab - named for a local mortuary?
