I missed Adam Groves at the Friday party. Luckily, we're in the same town so I expect we'll run into each other one day.

Likewise for Barry Henderson and Doug McDaniel. I emailed Barry, and he said he wasn't going to be able to make it. I don't think Doug came, either. I wanted to email him before the conference, but couldn't find his address.

Two or three people asked me what SayUncle's real first name was. I kept the secret under my hat. Uncle would have had a great time.

Chris Wage asked about Bubba and why he didn't come. My guess - he didn't want Bill Hobbs knowing his identity. It's hard to be an anonymous blogger at a place with so many digital cameras and TV crews.

Oh, and Oliver Willis didn't come. Sean Hackbarth of The American Mind said he met Willis at BloggerCon and even though the two of them are on different ends of the political spectrum he found Oliver to be very pleasant in person. Good on Oliver. It's one thing to have a heated exchange of opinion with a personality in a public forum, but the ultimate test of character is to be civil to a man in private. It's possible to like the man whether or not you like the man's politics.
