That picture is from last week's lake picnic in Dandridge.

Katie's big accomplishments this last week was drinking from a full-sized restaurant straw. That's handy for mommy and daddy. So is drinking from a bottle by herself, which she can do now, too.

Katie is crawling like crazy and can pull herself up. She's also mastered the art of sitting down without bumping her head, which is the tricky part. She learned to stick her butt out and settle into a soft landing.

Melissa brushed Katie's teeth for the first time last night. She didn't mind and seemed to kind of like it. Katie has four teeth now, two on top and two on bottom.
