East Tennessee > ATTN: Knoxville Bloggers (Again)

An obscure blogger named Glenn Reynolds has swung a deal to get 150 movie passes for a private Knoxville screening of Serenity, the bigscreen followup to Joss Whedon's "Firefly" TV series. The deal is that you have to be a blogger. The studio is hoping that you'll blog about the movie and generate buzz. Showtime is 7 pm on Tuesday, September 27. Go here to request your tickets.

You'll hate me for this, but I've never even seen Firefly. I was going to rent the Firefly DVD after we finished the next seasons of Six Feet Under and Deadwood.

7PM on a Tuesday... ...right smack in the middle of Ladies Night at CCA.

I'd have to do a pretty convincing imitation of a major coronary event to get out of work on a Tuesday night. Ah, well... :-(
