September 30, 2005News > Media Bias by OmissionZombie compares his pictures from an anti-war protest with one the San Francisco Chronicle ran of the same event. Ed Morrisey wants to know why the NY Times is ignoring a scandal in their own backyard involving NY Senator Chuck Schumer when out-of-town papers like the Washington Post have covered it. From Patterico: There is yet another example of clever wording by the L.A. Times’s David Savage this morning. Like last night’s example, today’s story tells the literal truth about abortion, but distorts the facts in a way that would fool unsophisticated people into thinking there is more evidence for the pro-abortion position than actually exists. John Cole has an example of just what Patterico describes in a CNN story about Katrina. UPDATE: NY Times Public Editor Bryan Calame published a letter from a reader asking why the Times hasn't covered the scandal in their back yard. Calame says reporters are now looking into it.
