Home Life > Update on Tana

We got a call at 5:00 AM. Tana's neurological condition has been declining. They can't take her out of the CCU to perform tests, but a bedside examination showed that her eyes were no longer centering. Melissa took mom to see her this morning.

This afternoon they tried to let Tana come out of sedation but her heart rate became dangerous and they put her back under.

Tonight the doctors did an EEG and her brain activity is irregular and decreasing. That's what we know now. We're preparing ourselves for what's probably inevitable. My brother called relatives in Georgia to let them know what's happening.
