In our marriage Melissa is the messier one and I'm the neater one. The difference isn't huge, and our housekeeping skills are relative. If we were married to different people she could be the neat one and I could be the messy one.

One time when I was complaining about some mess she jokingly accused me of having obsessive compulsive disorder. My response was "Geez, if that's the standard and I'm obsessive compulsive then you're one of those people who saves old cereal boxes and has paths going through the junk piles in your house."

I thought of that conversation when I saw these pictures. It kind of puts things in perspective.
