TOM CRUISE enjoys a "spectacular" sex life with his pregnant fiancee KATIE HOLMES, because they have such good communications skills. The Hollywood actor reveals his sex secrets in the May (06) issue of GQ magazine, declaring the physical act is a "by-product" of a successful pairing. Cruise enthuses, "Sex is about the connection. "Great sex is a by-product, for me, of a great relationship, where you have communication and it's an extension of that. Where it's just free. And that's how it should be. It's spectacular. If you're not in good communication with your partner, it sucks. "(Meaningless sex outside of a relationship) is really horrible and pathetic and lonely."

Count all the things wrong with that paragraph. Tom Cruise is bragging about his great sex life with his pregnant fiancee, which is a little weird. Then he gets all self-righteous about other people's sex lives. Dude won't even bother marrying his knocked-up fiancee (whom he expects to give birth in silence, in accordance with his Scientology beliefs), and he's preaching to other people. Sheesh.

Katie Allison Granju has another example of Cruise's weirdness with his fiancee.

Look, Tom Cruise is a nut, but come on, you're all wrong on this one.

a) sex with a pregnant woman is normal and healthy

b) pregnancy is not a reason to get married, and vice versa.

I don't think that sex with a pregnant woman is weird, but I think bragging about it in print is, as I said above, a little weird.

As far as b), they're already engaged and pregnant, so why the heck not get married unless he's just stringing her along? Bigger issue, though, is that he's gone on record putting down people who have sex outside of long-term relationships, when he's failed to commit to marriage despite a marriage proposal to a woman 16 years his junior that he's knocked up.

Which is worse: Tom and Katie or Brad and Angelina?

At least Brad/Angelina don't seem to be telling others how to live their lives. We just have to constantly hear about theirs as if it were important news.

Chris, old buddy, as the father of one and soon to be father of another I think I know a bit more about sex with pregnant women than you.

And unlike Tom Cruise that's all I have to say about that. ;-)
