East Tennessee > New to the Goofy Trips To-do List: Lake Lure, NC
We're watching Turner South and just saw a travel show that visited Lake Lure, NC. It's a 1930s lakeside resort southwest of Asheville and (du du du du du du du du du du du) Bat Cave, and is right next to Chimney Rock. It looks awesome, and the rates aren't bad. We like Western North Carolina a lot.
