No, she hasn't had the baby. But at her checkup on Monday the doctor found that her blood pressure had shot up over 150.
Melissa had pregnancy-induced high blood pressure during her first pregnancy, so it was something we had been on the lookout for. She was checking herself with a home blood pressure cuff. I guess the stress and travel exertion from finals and graduation last week pushed her over.
Her pressure's down a little now to 140, but her doctor put her on bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. The baby's due in four weeks.
