I've been reading this story as it came in, but not blogging about it, because it was too sad, and I don't know how to handle these things well.

The blogger at AtomicTumor has been blogging about his 29 year old wife's sudden illness. What started out as flu-like symptoms became life-threatening. Doctors found a massive blood infection. She went up and she went down, and today her husband posted the terrible conclusion:

I’ve got a shirt, blanket, makeup to put on her.
I’m picking up the kids.

She is brain dead. November 17, 2006.

Good bye, BJ. I love you.

Thanks Les.
Paypal, well, the accounts in BJ's name, and I don't know the password. Judging from what happened to somethingawful.com when they tried to do the charity thing a year or two ago for New Orleans, and Paypal messed around with them, I just decided that I wouldn't even waste energy trying to get the account info from them.
