Dangit. Kay's Ice Cream in Maryville has closed.
I was born and raised in Maryville. I rode the horse there when I was a kid. We had Kay's punch at holidays. My dad liked the peanut butter and banana milkshakes. Melissa and I took our kids there every month or so when we were in Maryville. It's hard to beat those $3 Kay's dinners or the Full House Tamale. They had a "Wate and Fate" machine to check your weight and predict your fortune. We started this trip there.
I sure will miss that place. I wish I had a picture of our family inside Kay's.
