Food & Drink > Duck Liver for Breakfast

I got up early this morning and cooked two ducks for the company Thanksgiving dinner today. That meant I got to have duck liver for breakfast. Mmmmm mmmm!

I post this mostly to make people who don't like liver or duck squirm, but it really was delicious.

How about a recipe?

I made chicken livers for lunch on Sunday. Chopped up a big yellow onion and sauted it in butter and chili sunflower oil, then tossed the livers in with that, and sprinkled a little poblano hot sauce on them, Ready to eat as soon as the pink went away.

No recipe. Just salt, pepper, and a little flour.
