"Child-proofing phasers"? I don't even think the ones in the original series had trigger guards. A phaser is a heck of a thing to foul up on a fast draw.

Les, put down "no trigger guard on phasers" in the same column as your observation that Jedi need to have tethers on their lightsabers ;-)

I just want to say that while I posted that on THR, I did not create that image. I wish now I had saved a link to where I found it to give credit. A google search would probably turn it up again though, if anyone really wants to know.
