I have a blog. And a dog. What they have in common is what M. Acklam said about dogs: "We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made."

Kathy asks about weekend bloggers. I give my blog attention when I have spare time. If I have lots of time I do a lot of blogging. When I have no time I do no blogging. I have time on the weekend, so I read blogs and blog then. I also save a few non-timely items to post during the work week, which is when people visit the most.I wrote this post before midnight and used MovableType's scheduling feature so it would appear on the blog in the morning when people come looking for new posts to start the day.
