Internet Webloggers have always been a real close family
But lately some on my blogroll have disowned a few others and me
I guess it's because I went and changed my hyperlinkin'.
Lord I guess I went and broke some unwritten convention!

They get on me and want to know:
Hank, why do you link? Hank, why'd you blogroll Dope?
Why must you trackback the Screed Lileks wrote?
Over and over everybody knows my Technorati postion.
If I log on and post all night long, it's a bloggin' tradition!

I am very proud of my blogdaddy's name
Although his kind of blogging and mine ain't exactly the same. (Heh. Indeed.)
Stop and think it over. Put yourself in my Ecosystem.
If I get a police visit or a cease and desist, it's a bloggin' tradition!

So don't ask me:
Hank, why do you ping? Why'd you blockquote Snopes?
Why'd Websense block the gun posts that you wrote?
If I'm down in Democratic Underground some moonbat's tryin' to give' me friction.
I said leave me alone I'm trolling all night long it's a bloggin' tradition!
