"We know these people. We know their game plan. They're going to attack us personally," Edwards said. "They attacked Elizabeth personally, because she stood up to that she-devil Ann Coulter."

P.S. - I'm not saying Ann Coulter isn't a she-devil. It's just a peculiar choice of words from the right Reverend Silky Pony.

Bonus! - John Edwards, the man who says Jesus would be appalled at the way we treat the poor, has been criticizing companies that foreclosed on Katrina victims. Now it turns out he owns $16 million worth of one of those companies.

Democratic presidential contender John Edwards has investing ties to subprime lenders who are foreclosing on victims of Katrina, according to a report published Friday.
The Wall Street Journal said there are 34 homes in New Orleans that face foreclosure from the subprime unit of Fortress Investment Group. Edwards has about $16 million in Fortress (Charts), a hedge fund and private equity manager, the newspaper said.

Edwards, the former senator from North Carolina, has been a vocal critic of subprime lenders and told the Journal that he would assist homeowners in New Orleans who face foreclosure from businesses linked to Fortress or who have already lost their homes.

Good reporting, I totally agree.

ABC engaged in pure journalistic negligence.

They probably should have covered the real story about John Edwards that was posted in the Wall Street Journal.

But, the elitists continue to tell the audience, “The customer is always wrong and too stupid to know what good Journalism is.”

Do you have any idea how much a$$et$ Fortress has? Billions.
$16 million is chump change.
Do you have any idea how an investment fund works? Do you realize that you cant just tell a billion dollar fund you don't want your $16 million chump change invested in sub prime loans? You have no idea how investment funds work. Keep kicking that dead horse Les.

Do you have any idea how the federal government works? Do you think someone who can't keep track of his own investment portfolio can manage the federal bureaucracy and solve poverty in a generation as Joh Edwards has promised?
