Is there really anyone researching how to clean something that needs to be prompted with instructions that amount to "clean it"?

I've only come across one good piece of cleaning advice that has served me well: Cleaning the shower with Easy Off oven cleaner. Damn, does that stuff eat up soap scum! No scrubing needed!
