September 17, 2007Guns > Rare ASP Pistol Just Sold at Coal Creek
I was looking up Coal Creek Armory's Web site for their phone number and saw this. It's an ASP pistol - a rare bird to begin with, and this one is number 100 of a limited edition run of 100. The ASP was a S&W 39 pistol with modifications designed by weapons designer Theodore Paris, who did work for the CIA and other U.S. agencies. Paris died last November, which prompted an article I read somewhere about the ASP. I thought it was at James Rummel's, but I couldn't find anything. It may have been at Airborne Combat Engineer or The Gun Zone. Posted by lesjones | TrackBackComments
Does it have 1 + 1, that is 2, extractors? Posted by: nk at September 17, 2007Just one, as far as I can tell. The big thing on top is the guttersnipe sight. Posted by: Les Jones at September 17, 2007Do you know of anyone who is an "authority" on the ASP pistol? Where can I find more info. about them (value, parts, etc.)?
