October 09, 2007Home Life > You Know What I Never Get Tired of?I never get tired of hearing my daughter Katie saying "please" and "thank you." She is one polite three year old. When most parents are asked what they want in their children they mention creativity, artistic ability, musical ability, etc. Those things are all great, but I think most people underestimate how desirable it is to have a polite, well-behaved child. I know what you mean. All the kids in our new neighborhood up in Smalltown, New Hampshire address the wife and me as Mr. and Mrs. M_________. A nice switch from the old digs in Boston. Some things haven't changed. The kids still skateboard in the street. Just not at 2:00 in the morning. We still here gunshots off in the distance, but they're not coming from the projects. Life is good in America. Posted by: Bruce at October 11, 2007Post a comment
