Thanks to the poetic praise of Brittney with two t's and an e we're going to watch Twin Peaks after we finish this last season of "Deadwood."

I watched "Twin Peaks" a little when it ran on TV, but not enough to understand what has happening. My wife had the same experience, but once it came out on videotape she watched it again and had a completely different experience. She says that watching "Twin Peaks" without commercials and being able to see the episodes back to back transforms the show. I tend to believe it. I like watching TV serials on DVD better than watching them from week to week.

Incidentally, since having had kids we can hardly ever find time during the week to watch two hour movies. Now we love one hour dramas, either on DVD or TiVo. We almost always have time to watch an episode between the time the kids go to bed and we go to bed.
