I can recall times on each vacation when something was a little screwed up. Kid's crying, hotel reservation messed up - something. All you have to do is see a couple of pictures from one of those vacations a few years later to know you'd do it all over again.
No matter how routine something may feel, there is a finite number of times you will ever do that thing. How many more times will you remember that special day, recall that special smell, visit that friend? Maybe a dozen. Maybe never again.
