Economics > "Nothing but delicious lobster, all the time, for everyone!"

a modern day German Communist gets caught eating lobster and says ""I don’t do anything that I say others shouldn’t do,” she told the daily TAZ. “On the contrary, I’m fighting for a society in which everyone can afford to eat lobster." Which prompts Tim Blair to reply, "That’s how it used to be in the Soviet Union; nothing but delicious lobster, all the time, for everyone."

That's right, folks. Under Communism we'll have enough finite resources for everyone to enjoy!

Every home will have original Van Gogh paintings on the walls!

Everyone's kids will have front row seats at the Hannah Montana concert!

Right now in America finite resources are allocated by free market capitalism, which is unfair. And by unfair I mean that only people who can afford things and choose to buy those things and not other things can have them. In Soviet Russia, finite resources choose you!

Yep, that's why there is a lot of money in sewage.
