Tech > More Firefox Search Plug-ins

Installed a fresh copy of Firefox tonight, noticed I didn't have my usual set of searchbox plug-ins, and went looking. Checking the official Firefox repository, there are lots of new ones since the last time I did a fresh install. My favorite is the IMDB search. Hollywood, LinkedIn, and FlickR are new to my awareness.

Now when is Google going to get around to making a YouTube search plug-in?

P.S. - Or a plug-in for Google News, Google Maps, etc.?

My favorite plugins for the 'Fox are Adblock Plus and Flash Blocker. Prevents ads from being displayed and flash from automatically running when you go to a flash-enabled site.

Lissa: very cool. I snagged two different YouTube plug-ins so I can try both.

Kyle: AdBlock's pretty good. Flash Blocker rules. Almost essential these days.
